Parallel Lives Delegations

An inseparable part of the meetings - Soldiers with Diaspora youth - within the framework of Parallel Lives is the delegations to the US, further to which the participants implement projects which they have designed and put together. These days, our recent alumni are working to develop numerous joint projects and aspire to implement them among Jewish communities in USA.

To date, approximately sixty soldiers have participated in 10 delegations of Parallel Lives:

•  April -May 2009- A delegation to Minneapolis Jewish community, Minnesota and Los Angeles Jewish community, California, USA

•   October-November 2008 - A delegation to the Hebrew union college and the Jewish community in Los Angeles, USA.

• April –May 2008- A delegation to the Jewish community and universities Philadelphia, USA.Four soldiers executed a project which they put together with a local student who stayed in Israel for five months and who participated together with them in the leadership seminar. to read the delegation schedule, publications and summary of the activities of the press here.

• September 2007 – A delegation to the Jewish community and university in Orlando and Boca Raton, Florida;to read a summary of the activities of the delegation press here

• May 2006 – A delegation to the University of Maryland

• May 2005 – A delegation to the University of California in Santa Cruz(UCSC) and in Los Angeles(UCLA) and New York Jewish community

• April 2005 – A delegation to the University of Arizona(UA), Tucson

• March 2005 – A delegation to the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL) and New York Jewish community

• May 2004 – A delegation to the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL)

• April to May 2004 – the First delegation of Parallel Lives – University of Maryland and visit to the New York Jewish community
